SAME-San Antonio Post Scholarship Application Academic Year: 2023-2024

Request for Applicants. We invite you to participate in our Academic Year 2023-2024 Scholarship Award Program on behalf of the San Antonio Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME-SA). We also appreciate support in identifying qualified and deserving candidates for our Scholarship Award Program. Last year, we received 19 applications from 8 Texas Universities, and we awarded 13 scholarships totaling $40,000. We encourage anyone to disseminate this information and encourage applicants to submit their applications to us as stated below.

The goal of our scholarship program is to select approximately 6 to 10 qualified and promising undergraduate students to receive SAME-SA Post scholarships for the Spring Semester. The SAME-SA Post awards two types of scholarships: six Named Scholarships of up to $5,000 each, and several General Scholarships between $1,000 and $4,000 at the discretion of the Post Board of Directors. All scholarships are a one-time cash award.
